Yoga with Joke Murray

Yoga Union
It is a path for realizing full human potential. It is a science for balanced living and a way to stay connected to our natural humanity. It offers the promise to stay centred in the midst of turbulence.
The yoga postures increase flexibility, strengthen the muscles, improve posture and enhance the circulation.
The essential purpose of yoga is to integrate all layers of life, environmental, physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual. Yoga means union, the union of body, mind and soul.

Qi Kung
Is the Chinese equivalent of Yoga where the focus is more directly on manipulation of Qi, energy or life-force through mind and breath. It is the art and science of gathering, circulating and storing Body/Mind energy which is available from within oneself, nature and the Universe.

Shiatsu
Techniques will be used to open blockages in the meridian system to assist in performing the different postures and to achieve a greater feeling of well being.
Different parts of the world have developed different disciplines. By opening up for them and adding our western insights we are able to actively be involved in the healing process of ourselves and the planet.
